let me introduce myself

Hiyee! I'm Erlinda, a photographer and artist based in the pacific. I was born and raised in Saipan, grew up in Iowa (teen-young adulthood), and now living on Guam. My love for the arts has been a form of self-expression since I was a kid. Drawing and painting led me to making photographs in the darkroom which paved the way to present day. Photography is a means for me to melody art, intimacy, and vulnerability. I'm inspired by old b&w film alongside contemporary cinematography, rococo and renaissance art, jazz music, and the world around me. But also, more importantly, I'm goofy, I giggle a lot, and I'mma friggin' delight.

I love love. I love rom-coms, love songs and poetry, valentine's day, even jewelry commercials make me cry during proposal season lol. My favorite movie is Hitch for goodness sake. I'm a hopeless romantic, a mother, wife, sister, and your soon-to-be quirky friend.
